Q: My Insurance company recommends I take my vehicle to a body shop they "work with", can I bring my vehicle to Gary's Collision Center?
A: You have the right to have your vehicle repaired by any repair facility of your choice and you only need one estimate. Some insurance companies have contracts with repair facilities and use this method as a way to save themselves money. No insurance company, independent agent, representative, appraiser, adjuster or staff member of an insurance company can legally force you to take your vehicle to any specific repair facility or require repairs be made by a specific shop or individual.
Q: Do you offer loaner cars?
A: Yes, we offer a courtesy car FREE OF CHARGE if you need a vehicle while repairs are being done. Please call for additional details and qualifications.
Q. Do you offer a warranty on your work?
A: Yes, Gary's Collision Center offers a warranty on our work. Ask us for more details on our warranty.
Q: What information should I bring to Gary's Collision Center if I need insurance work?
A: Bring your insurance company claim number and the name of the contact person. We will take it from there.
Q: Can you save me my deductible?
A: An honest repair shop will always say no. Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance carrier. It states that if you are involved in a collision, you are responsible for the first portion of the repairs (your deductible) and any depreciation or betterment on mechanical parts. The insurance company will pay the rest.
If we do fewer repairs than agreed to with the insurance company, you are still responsible for the initial amount – your deductible. Any reduction in cost should go; directly, to the insurance company.
Q: How difficult is it to match my paint color?
A: Gary's Collision Center uses a Computerized Paint Matching system to ensure your satisfaction with the factory paint match.
Q: How long will it take to repair my car?
A: Because each situation is different, there is no standard time period necessary to make repairs. The length of time is dependent on the extent of the damage, availability of parts, and of course, your insurance adjuster's timeliness. However, we do everything we can to keep your repair time as short as possible.
Q: Do I need an appointment for an estimate? How long will it take? Is there a cost?
A: You may drive in to our convenient "Drive-Thru Estimate Bay" for an estimate anytime during our hours of operation. Estimates take approximately 20 minutes to complete, depending upon the extent of the damage. Estimates are free when you have work completed at Gary's Collision. Any initial charge is deducted from the repair invoice.
If you are on a time schedule, we recommend you call us ahead to make an appointment for your estimate, as there may be a wait if someone is ahead of you.
You are responsible for your deductible, if you have one, payable to Gary's Collision Center at the completion of repairs. The insurance company is responsible for all repair expenses above your deductible.
